12 Year Happy Pingo Customer
With so many telecom services, what has kept you using Pingo since it first launched back in 2004?
Because it’s so easy to use and very convenient. I can automatically add more funds to my account or I can choose a specific amount (I usually do the first option, where I add funds when my account is below a certain amount). Also, I love the fact I can register my personal phone numbers and if I call from these numbers, Pingo recognizes them and doesn’t ask me to dial my account number and password. Last, but not least, I think the price is very competitive, the call quality is great and therefore there is no reason for me to be shopping around for another option.
Where do you call the most in this world and how is the call quality?

I call Brazil the most, but I’ve called some places in Europe and some other countries. I’ve used Pingo from Brazil to the USA, from USA to Europe, from France to USA and so on. All the calls have great quality, I have never had a problem with delays or strange noises.
How has Pingo helped you stay connected? What features do you like most?
As I said before, it’s just convenient! I know I can go pretty much anywhere in the world and be able to communicate with the people and/or companies I need. I access the Pingo website, check the access number for the country I’m in and that’s it. I used to pay a certain amount to my home phone provider so I could do some international calls. When I found Pingo, I immediately canceled that plan and switched because Pingo was just as easy but much cheaper. And gave me the option to call from any phone (cell phone, public phone, hotel phone), not only my home phone. This is a great advantage.

We create enrichment after-school classes that involve games and play to teach kids about personal finances, business concepts and important life skills – like leadership, teamwork, and creativity – that are so important no matter which path they choose in their adult life. Currently, 8 in 10 Americans have debt. The higher the amount of debt a person has, the higher her stress level is. And yet, we are not teaching our children how to deal with money, how to handle life “surprises”, how to quiet down our increase urge to buy more and more things.
Kids Business Club has this mission, to really involve children through the use of games and play, so they can understand the importance of planning ahead, recognize the important things and manage their own money. Our business model is based on licensing all materials we create. So if a person wants to have her own after school program teaching business for kids, we are here to help! We provide all material, class plans and ideas on how to create and manage the after school program. The model is very attractive for the instructor because you don’t need much investment and the income can be really good!
Since you teach kids about business. What’s your thoughts on the importance of immigrant entrepreneurs and the importance of teaching business skills to kids?
Entrepreneurs have no nationality. I’ve seen some amazing entrepreneurs everywhere in the world and I’m always amazed at what people can create. The thing is, some of them have great ideas but unfortunately live in a place where there is no market for it. Crossing borders end up benefiting the entrepreneur, and the consumer market, that now has access to something great.
Teaching Kids About Business
Teaching business skills to kids just increase the odds of our world having more and more access to amazing things. Children are so creative, they usually have the best ideas for products and services and what I like the most about them is that they have a very strong desire to make the world a better place. During our classes, I don’t have to mention the importance of social responsibility because they already want to do that, it’s something natural for them. They want to improve lives, to take care of the animals, to give opportunities to the less fortunate. They are caring and very sensitive about the world around them. This is business in its most raw form and it’s so rich that needs to be praised, cultivated and encouraged!
